I have owned the bike for just over three years and it has wanted for nothing, has had regular oil and filter changes, it has been used for commuting, ride outs and motorway work to get me around the country and performs faultlessly...
From a previous owner there are two dinks in the left side of the tank from him knocking a couple of rattle cans off of a shelf onto it, there are also a few scratches on the lower right fairing that wont show up in photos...
Just after I bought the bike during an oil change the sump plug cross threaded, it would screw in but not tighten, on the advice of a mechanic I tried re-tapping the hole and using a larger plug but I didnt trust it, so as there is another drain bolt/plug just further back from the original I set the original in place with a high temp liquid metal ( 150 degree temp minimum ) once it had set I marked the new bolt/washer and sump and in three years it hasn't moved and isn't an issue in use or a problem with oil changes.
Bike is located in the West Midlands, West Bromwich to be exact, just off either junction 9 of the M6 or junction 1 of the M5.
Test rides welcome with proof of insurance and licence, along with accepted offer price in my hand...

Looking to replace it with either a ZR 750 or a Bandit so if you've got either and fancy a change send me a message as a swap may be possible for the right bike... ____________________ Previous Bikes...Honda NSR 125 RR...Kawasaki Zephyr 550...Suzuki SV 1000 S...Yamaha FZ8...Current Bike...Suzuki GSX-R 750... |
