Set in South America or somewhere like it.

Aid convoy gets ambush, guy is made to fight in the ring.

He's stacked and has a shaved head.

Also goes on about Marianne throughout the film.

Any ideas?

see if you know this film..

its about a family, father, mother and a crippled child. the mother gets killed in a horrible attack and the father is left to raise the kid.

to make matters worse the kid wanders off and ends up getting kidnapped so the father goes on a massive journey accompanied by a mentally disabled woman to try to find him.

the dad was really over-protective of his kid at first but once he realises how well the kid coped with it all once they were re-united he realised the kid was fine, even with his deformity.

Not Rocky I'm afraid.

It's a film I think I saw a while ago. God knows.

Short guy with a shaved head. There's nuns involved, think he's quite religious. Dies at the end because he doesn't throw a fight and the cartel get him.
