Hi guys,

My names Ben i bought a Hartford 125 today its an offroader but the engine in it is a sym basically i want to swap to a more powerful engine can some of you point me in the right direction to get a refurbished suitable more powerful engine for my bike.

Bike engines aren't an easy swap. If you want more power, your best bet is to buy a bigger bike.

Presumably you bought a 125 because you're a learner?

There is nothing you can really do to make it any more powerful without violating the restrictions placed on you by your license. What you can do, things like exhaust and jetting, will produce minimal results, if anything.

125s are rubbish and slow, accept that, pass your test and get something better. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

its an off road bike i bought it to blast about in the woods etc...can some1 give me credible answers rather then their views on 125s
