hi,

ive recently swapped the engine from my 98 hornet for a newer 2003 engine. the engine is running now and just needs a few tweeks to get smooth. however i've noticed that the breather hose running from under the carburetor is sucking in air, which isnt right. at first i thought i might have mixed up the vacuum hose (to the tank) and breather hose, but that can't be it as the breather hose wont reach to the fuel tap.

any advise would be great.

From what I remember there is a hose that goes from the PAIR (front of the engine) to the carb.
Is these the hose you might be talking about.?

no as it is the newer 2003 engine, the pair valve is on top of the rocker cover, however i have removed this and blanked off the valves. maybe ill just leave it and see how it goes Very Happy
