Idiots left bricks in the road...

Well as you can see from the title this is about some idiots who thought they were being funny and left some bricks in the middle of the road (one right and the middle and a couple towards the pavement on my left).

I was coming along at half 5 in the morning on the way to work and due to the darkness couldnt see them, hit the brick in the middle and went flying. Damaged my shoulder ligaments, off work for a month and off my bike for 2 months ish.

I've tried to claim but the solicitor said they probably wouldn't succeed as they don't know who to blame, has anyone else had anything like this before? If so, did you claim and any thoughts on my case?

I've had pissheads leave cones in the center of a lane before, luckily enough it was on a well lit part of the road so I saw them with plenty of time to move but I could have gotten off the bike and murdered the little scroates

I narrowly missed the bottom of a pint glass earlier, the thick glass base with some shards sticking up, left right in the middle of the road just after one of those stupid painted domed islands, right opposite a pub, no other glass shards around, so I assume it'd been left there on purpose...
