You will make friends here anyway no need to make a million new threads even though I have to admitt they are better than the normal posts that many people make.

8.5k I'd get a 75 quid bike for my tiny mileage, spend 3k on a car, and stick the rest in the bank.

Or if it had to be on a bike, I'd get a nicely restored gold star or brough superior if it would stretch to it, and get it in dry storage.

I would have my loverly Hornet 600. I would get it re-jetted to get rid of the horrible vibrations at 7k. The rest of the money would be used for the insurance!

I wouldn't spend iton a bike if I had the choice.

If I didn't value my licence it would be a ZX10 probably, though by the sounds of it I wouldn't be complaining at a R1 or GSXR1000 either really Smile.

Well with that sort of free money I would sell the R6 and together I should have enough for a MV F4 1000.
Cool

alternatively something that has better gas milage than the CB and can take the additional milage I'll be doing after June 25th (communte going from 40 miles per day to 70)...urmm...dunno, cannot think of anything that would be suitable...Bandit 12?

LOL. I'd love to see an RS250 cain a new Blade Very Happy Even with thousands spent on tuning, you're still only getting a 250.
