Whilst out on a nice little ride through Norwich today we came across a few people on CBT

1st set of trainees.....3 bikes plus one instructor
2nd set of trainees....4 bikes plus one instructor and most of his students looked terrified

Silly me and there was me thinking a max ratio of 2:1 - I could be well wrong though and they were just on training / extra lessons just following a well worn CBT route - although if "extra lessons" then I'd have thought some would have used their own bikes.

A NICE ride out in Norwich? You avoided the one way system then. I nearly starved to death trying to escape it last time.

On my CBT the lady doing the training was very professional.

However when she explained how to check a chains tightness on one of the school bikes she failed to see/mention that it was as slack as a Grannies Knickers and I ended up riding it anyway.

On both occasions they were heading towards us.

1st set (3) through our housing estate I was more concerned with looking ahead than catching a rear view mirror impression of a jacket and the 2nd (4) set was by Norwich airport managed and they were going across the lights right and we were waiting to go left so more side on view. Def under instructiont hough as all radio'd up and appeared to be on P1, either instructor just happened to glance at us or was reacting to comment of "thought it was only supposed to be 2:1"
