Hello.

I never really post anything here so I'll make it quick.

I went for bike or car insurance from the usual multicheck sites and foolishly forgot to check the wee box that stops them from selling your details on, cue a very great many text messages (and phone calls) offering to recover PPI etc.

It might just be (and lets be honest, probably is) that I have to much time on my hands, but taking the mobile numbers the companies use to send their annoying texts then adding it back into the callback request function on their website seems like a fair quid pro quo.

Even if it isn't the same company, the idea that much of their server time would be spent offering other PPI recovery companies PPI recovery amuses me.

If I was a really sad bastard I might even get some bogus quotes from the main multi check insurance sites using their mobile phone numbers and not bother checking the 'don't contact me' box.

As I say, if I had too much time on my hands. Which is of course untrue since I have a rich and varied social life.
