Honda Benly cd200 help

Hello, I am fairly new owner to my Y (1982) reg Honda Benly cd200 and just had a few questions.

Is there supposed to be somesort of backlight behind the speedometer to help you see the speed at night? If so how do I change it because mine does not work?

Also, just wondering what to tyre pressures are supposed to be?

I'm pretty new to biking and any help/answers would be greatly appreciated, many thanks!

Look at your clocks. Has it got two screws/bolts holding the bottom on? If so undo and you will see the bulbs.

Honda back lights are normally a push fit rubber grommet into the underside of the clocks.If you have an electric start version CD200 the bulbs will be 12v and maybe 3 or 4watt.If the bike is kick start only it may well be 6volt but with similar wattage bulbs.

Does the small 'P' or pilot light bulb in the headlight light up when you select that position on the handlebar switch?If it does not then check to see if the tail light illuminates.If none of these bulbs light up then it may well be a faulty handlebar switch.

Tyre pressures should be somewhere around 30 psi. Typical for most bikes, but yours might have inner tubes which might make a difference.
