Didn't bother with the Aldi ones, but did order some cleats to go with my mtb shoes - can then swap those pedals on to the hybrid and see how it goes.

If I like it, will consider my options for road shoes.

Went for an ok ride yesterday - though was a bit drained by the end, so need to get in to it properly again. (Only two and three quarter hours or so.)
