Evening guys,

Just a quick question - my flatmate has seen the error of his ways and has decided he wants to join us on two wheels.

Now then, he's over 21 and looking to do his DAS but the big question is a bike.

How much d'you reckon he'll be able to get a 3 year old Hornet 600 with < 15k on the clock for?

Cheers,

Beechy

PS On a slightly different tack, d'you reckon he'll be better doing his normal test and getting the bike restricted or jumping straight in for the DAS? (He's 25).

Seen them for £2500 to £3000 in the bike trader a couple of months ago!

Pleased your friend is joining the 'dark side' Laughing

Maybe DAS if he's 25. I take he drives and has road sense.

DAS, but not to go out and buy a sports bike straight away.

For a start it will work out cheaper. DAS normally costs around £100 more than a normal course and test, but restricting a bike will cost more than that.

All the best
