Rs125 Neutral Light

Hi,

I have Aprilia RS125. The neutral light seems to flicker sometimes and sounds like it effects the bike when its running and not revving out properly.

Is this a common electrical fault on one of these?

Sounds like you have a short somewhere.......or a poor earth. Does the bike play up when not in neutral?

If you havn't already, have a good close look at all the wiring, looking for cracked sheathing, corroded connecters etc and paying special attention where the wiring is routed close to the frame or engine - around the headstock for eg. If possible, move the wiring while the engine is running to see if it has any effect.
Stick with it, you'll get there. Keith knows his Rs's so should be able to help.
