They both serve different purposes so you couldn't just slap them all in an office.
They do however, do work in the same 'industry' so you could have a few buildings on the same site, probably wouldn't help increase their efficiency mind, allot of the staff and rules there seem purposely retarded.
I got a letter from them demanding/charging £25 for a v5C for the RD, I rang them and protested paying such a price for someone to click a button and print a sheet of paper; the letter stated it was legislation so when I questioned it they said it wasn't legislation just policy so I had a rant about them being a private organisation using legal lawful wording to profit from motorists... she wasn't too entertained.
In the same context as Banks charging silly amounts for overdraft & charges notification letters; I will not pay £25 for a replacement v5. ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get rid of VED, put it on fuel, and hand licensing over the post office. Burn Swansea to the ground. Machine gun any survivors. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Why the need for tax discs? If you tax your vehicle and the system is instantly updated then why the fuck waste money issuing them?
What needs to be instant is putting insurance details on the MID.
