I've done a novice day at Cadwell (with MSV). Had a really good day, the people were helpful and even though I was feeling tight and didn't want to pay for the one to one time, the instructor was happy to take me through why my overtake had taken me straight through Halls The briefings they take you through before you go out and during the day seem to cover everything pretty well.
It was broken up into twenty minute sessions and there must have been six or seven (quite possibly more it kind of blurred ) sessions so a good couple of track hours. Which was surprisingly tiring.
On the novice days you aren't split into groups though, so while I'm sure some were unimpressed with my GPZ I was equally umipressed with the litre GSXRs that slaughtered me on the straights but held me up badly in corners So you'll have good sessions and then annoying as bugger ones where you get that one guy who can't ride his brand new supersports round a car park let alone a track. That said, if you don't know the track or haven't raced that much this won't really be too much of a problem. Oh, there's no recording of times etc. so that may put you off.
And yeah, it starts early Can't wait to go again ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!
