Hi,

Passed my Mod1 today in Wakefield. Pissing down with rain all day yesterday during my first and only lesson for it. It took me all day and night to dry my gear!

Set of at 6.15 this morning, pissing down with rain again (thank fook for £30 waterproof trousers I bought last night).

Riding to the test with my instructor and nearly binned it stopping at some lights! Front wheel slid out going over a painted bicycle on the floor. I was stopping sharply as, I slowed down anticipating the lights and they hit amber when I was 5 meters away. I shouldn't have stopped but I didn't want to loose the instructor in rush hour. Anyway I steered into the skid and released the front break and rescued it. I was we'll chuffed with the save!

Test centre was wet but not soaking, passed with no minors.

Happy days, booking mod 2 at the weekend.

Thanks to those that post advice on here.

Dave
