Roger that, will do.

Can't help but think my awareness of the fact I'm sitting in an uncomfortable chair in a DVLA test center might have a negative effect on my hazard perception.

Not too much though... it tells you off! (and gives you zero points for that clip)

True. I personally clicked about three times per danger and I've passed (once when potential danger appears, once when it develops and once for good measure)

May the test Gods be proffering smiles and good fortune upon your being for the duration, ultimately ending in a desired and well earnt victory, followed by much wine, woman and song as a celebratory ceremony.

TLDR: Good luck, have a beer after Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Payday.

It's payday today, but there is every chance I'll be completely buggered for cash by the time the first appointment was available. Test is already paid for, but there is no chance I'll be going that close to shops like Maplins and the places on Westgate Road without some good supply of your english pounds.

Thanks guys. I'd just like to say before I start on this intensive regime of study, that I will be doing my best to do BCF proud.

I promise*, if the opportunity arises, I will put "Punch her in the tits and do her up the gary" as an answer somewhere.

*Fingers crossed

My mate did his theory test today, and failed the hazard perception bit. Funny really, he's been driving for about 5 years, would've hoped he could spot a hazard by now. Laughing

My hazard perception test score declined markedly (between car and bike tests) as I got more experience - I found more hazards, and clicked too early and often.

Failed my bike hazard perception first time, then ace it secound time. Would like to think I somehow practised and improved. But I did not practice (6 day gap) and too this day I have absolutely no idea what I did differently the secound time. Shocked Convinced myself Hazard Perception passes are drawn out of a hat.

When I took my car test I failed the Hazard Perception by a couple of marks. Had to go back a week later and did really well on it. When I took my bike test I had to take it again and made it through the Hazard Perception (Barely!) - Even though I spotted all the Hazards and clicked with good time. The questions were easy enough, aced all those.

The only advice I can give for it, is logic doesn't really apply. It's like a game. Get yourself the training DVD and run the HP videos. You get a bar at the bottom where it shows the best time to click, and applicable scores for it - this should give you a decent idea of what they're looking for in terms of spotting them. Also, the videos are crap quality, and the screens are horrible.

Good Luck.
