And before the repost Police give me 3 rapes and an unlimited bar tab, I did search but found nothing current.

The headlight on my TZR is absolute poo. And it flickers like hell because it's powered from the alternator and not the battery. So unless I want to rewire the whole bike and add headlight relay etc I can't fit a HID.

LED headlights have come on quite a bit recently, you can now get ones with CREE chips in standard fitment which would be a straight swap. The flickerage I can fix with a suitably-sized DC smoothing circuit. if needs be.

The headlight I'm looking at draws 11W in full-beam, which is still less than HID.

So my main question is; is it actually worth doing?

Cheers dears Thumbs Up

Anything is better than the standard headlight,

The TZR headlight bad i must admit very similar to my NSR headlight, only reason being i have not upgraded is that i don't go out at night a lot and where i do go, 70% of the road's i travel on are street lit...
