I don't much like the look of the weather today. I have a 50 mile each way trip to do from Lincoln to Peterborough later today and am not much looking forward to it Sad
At least its not raining..... yet!

Well i made it to peterborough. It rained most of the way but my belstaffs have held out well. Wind was pretty rough but not too bad. Not much traffic either. Bike is running very well and i was getting the nod from the few other bikers out there. Just warming up with a coffee in maccys and enjoying the free wifi. Another hour to waste before i need to be at the training centre so i might go find a bike shop and buy some thermal inner gloves for the ride home!

We've a windmill down here that if you can't see it than it is raining... if you can see it then it is going to rain. Smile

Well I made it home alright. The weather brightened up a touch for the return journey though it was still windy. Chinese Charlie ran fine but its covered in all kinds of muck, shit and corruption so I will have to give her a thorough clean tomorrow.
Did the 60 miles of NSL single carriage way ( including crossing 4 towns ) in a shade under 2 hours.
Not so good for the posterior padding though Sad Buttercake buttercake bikers bum.......
On the positive side, wearing Hi-Vis makes a hell of difference to how people react to me on the road.... I was being given space and getting let out at junctions etc! Enjoyed today Smile
