hi all, im new to this forum.

i have an aprilia rs 125 full power 2005, bike was running sweet until a few weeks ago. now all of a sudden it doesnt like going up to 9000rpm, it just bogs down until i ease of the throttle. things ive done that may have caused it are;

had an oil leak from somewhere, ended up being from the oil pump, took the oil pump cover off and the bolts that hold it on where just sitting at the bottom of the casing. got it back on no problems. i think since putting the oil pump back on, it might of adjusted itself? maybe thats why the bike is bogging down at around 9000rpm?

had the power valve blade out and cleaned it but nae sure if i put it back in the right way?

ive changed the cdi to a new unrestriced one (old had been deristricted badly), and got a new power valve ecu, coils, fuses, spark plug, spark plug cap and HT lead, bike was running fine with all this new stuff on it.

ive had the carb off and cleaned it, had the air filter off and cleaned. cleaned the fuel filter aswel. had the petcock out and the and the pipe that goes into the tank that connects to the fuel tap was snapped? would that cause the rpm problem? maybe there is air getting in the pipe?

actually have no idea whats wrong? please help. any advice would be fantastic. loves this bike and dont want to have to sell it for spares or repairs.

cheers guys

have you made sure the oil pump is bled properly so there's no air in the lines? also check the pump is aligned properly.

also i assume your not riding a full power rs125 on a cbt?

if you pm me your address ill email you the rotax 122 workshop manual, you'll be able to use it to check if your power valve is in properly
