Hi All

i have a CBF 125 which i am hoping to sell on soon, this morning i noticed that the inside of the front wheen paint has started to flake showing the silver metal behind it.

I have tried to keep the bike in good nick, wash it down once a week and rinse it when i get back from work to get the muck of the roads off (i travel 80 miles a day) i have seen some second hand wheels with the same problem (i will try and attach)

what is the best way to treat this problem, can i get some touch up paint? if so any recomendations?

Powder coating is probably the best long term fix, I think there's a place near me doing wheels for about £30ish.

Cheap fix would be lightly sand the surface, mask and spray with a rattle can.

I would vote for the powdercoat option as well, least then you make your bike a bit more appealing to people when selling it on, you have the before pictures if anyone asks why they were done Thumbs Up
