Hows that then? How have you been 'treated'? Nothing on there looks bad at all too me.

I'm sorry for your loss and can't imagine what you are going through but in my mind NOTHING in that thread is mistreating you in ANY way.

I have to agree with Chris-Red. I read the whole thread as it was unfolding and I applaud Hetzer for being so open about the developments that have occurred, they would not have been easy to share.

I cannot understand your pain or what your going through, and I hope I never have to, but unless something has happened behind the scenes, nothing out of line has been done within that thread.

I hope you find the answers you're looking for.

I said I didn't want to know, not getting involved in this one, just wish people wouldn't do this tarring everyone with the same brush thingy, happens in all walks of life, all the time, it's daft.

It's human nature, and as you said it happens all the time. You should be used to it by now.

Sorry to hear about what happened.

Losing a son is probably the hardest thing for anyone to ever have to go through.

I can understand your frustration and anger at some insensitive comments. People generally are insensitive about things that don't involve them personally.

Not posting was probably good advice to you, this thread wont help anything either, just stir up more drama.

Don't let cunts get you down, it's easy to focus on the negative when you're in that frame of mind but there was a lot of comments asking people to be more sensitive and saying how relatives would see this thread. But some people don't care.

It's not a fraternity and we're not a singularity, quite frankly some people on here can go fuck themselves. Not many though, most are decent, good people Thumbs Up
And there are a lot of people who don't want to be tarred with the same brush.

All the best.

Hetzers Bro arrested

Thought he hit a deer turns out he hit the OP's son and killed him.

Hetzers Bro reported it wasn't covering anything up.

General tone is feeling sorry for all involved.

I've read the OP again, horrified? I've actually re-read the whole thread and can't see a single thing you could be horrified with.

Bit of sympathy and understanding please. Who here would be a paragon of rationality after walking a mile in OPs shoes? This isn't a banter thread, there's no points to be scored by being right.

Nothing wrong with the thread,

Deepest respects go out to all the family...

His brother did the correct thing, didn't hide anything...
Thoughts once again go to friends and family.
No point in arguing about it now .

A close friend of mine lost a brother in a similarly tragic incident. He found it oddly upsetting that random people were talking about what to him was a family (private) ordeal on the internet. So I can sort-of see why Creature would be unsettled by this, but in this day and age it's going to happen and (in a move I wouldn't necessarily have expected of BCF) everyone has been genuinely sad for all parties involved, except maybe the odd person with an axe to grind (who has targeted Hetzer's family not Creature's).

So this saddens me even more.

Someone else was 'dealing' with that thread; I had a cursory glance at it and haven't kept up so not about to go through however many pages as I'm just on my way out.

However, I can advise:
There is no specific function to 'close' your account. You can however set it to not receive email reminders if you have any set.
After that, you merely need to not visit this website any more to stop using it Thumbs Up.

Wotcha.

I think a lot of your friends in NABD would not wish that - a lot of us admire and respect what you've done.

Here Here.

Creature,

Please dont loose faith in the biking community as an entirity, or mankind in general.

I am always heartened by the number of good, genuine and genuinely honest people there are in the world, and who I have met through bikes and land-rovers and their associated internet forums.

There is nothing that can be said to change what has happened, and at this time, no-one knows how it did.

Yet there are always those quick to offer comment. But, empty vessels always make most noise.... and remember skum floats to the surface, while you have to sift through the silt at the bottom to find true gold.

Words are cold comfort right now, I am sure, and ill considered comment and subjective is simply worrying the wounds you must surely feel.

But, for what it is worth, our sympathies are with you and yours.

The FACTS as unoquivocally known at this time, are, for reference:-

Friday 14th September, Timmy, (creatures son) died, while cycling home from work near Spalding. Presumed struck by a hit and run driver.Debris from a vehicle, a silver van, was found near the scene, and believed to be from a vehicle that may have struck Timmy.

Police Appealed for information.

Monday 17th September, Hetz, in post on here, reported his brother, Pablo had earlier recounted striking a deer in his works van, and questioned why, his brother might have been arrested, and his sister-in-law & her children told to find alternative accomodation, while police searched his house.

Media releases reported arrest and subsequent bail of Pablo, in connection with the death of Timmy.

Those are the KNOWN facts. The 'evidence', though suggesting that Pablo may have struck Timmy, are NOT conclusive.

Police continue thier enquiries, and it is their job to consider the facts and evidence, which we may presume to be FAR more than we have at our disposal, to decide if there is any culpability for Timmy's death and where that might lie, and what action might be taken in consequence.

And other 'commentary' and speculation on the case, it would appear is both unhelpful and obviously painful to those concerned.

I don't blame him for losing faith in the biking community tbh, it's a fickle and clique oriented one.

That's not true, the bad post more often than the good IMO, often threads asking for help turn into a finger pointer like most of mine, while on here i might not be well thought of my opinion on everyone else here is a lot worse.
