Hi all
Looking for some advice from this esteemed Forum. I recently passed my test. Smile Now I have an sr125 and it has served me well over the last few years. (ran a stop sign at the first test, watching girlie in miniskirt DOH) .
So now that I'm qualified and have learned to keep my eyes on the job I'd like to get larger bike. Its mostly to commute to work.
Its a seventy mile round trip mostly on the motorway what you you recommend. Bearing in mind this is ireland and anything over 650cc is going to cost a kidney to get insured.
I was thinking about a honda bros 400.

Thanks
Sean

Mostly motorway, you want something with a fairing.

Faired version of the CB500, GPZ500, Hornet... A couple of people on here have a Bros (Carvell, Goose) and would be able to tell you how they feel for motorway hacking.

You can always have a look at www.powerbronze.co.uk who do aftermarket fairings for naked bikes if you happen to find a good deal on something and then regret the lack of wind protection. I had one on my unfaired CB500 and it made a massive difference when it was cold and wet.
