Hello. Yep, you'll be looking like a clown for your CBT
I'm not 100% but the idea is to not have the pupils die so this is likely correct! ____________________ If you can keep your head when all about you

there are many different sized 125s, the school i did my cbt at had one so big i couldn't touch the ground on it. so i think you'll be fine on a 125. it's only a day out of your DAS anyway
by contrast i can touch both feet flat with bent knees on my mates 750 machine.
whereabouts in wales are you bud? ____________________ CBT - 17/09/12 * Theory - 23/10/12 * Mod1 - 05/03/13 * Mod2 - 25/03/13 * BOSH!

I'm not aware of any legal reason why a CBT has to be done on a 125. As long as you're complying with the "big bike" terms of your provisional while on road (which you will be during any legal and reasonable CBT course), you're fine. It is entirely up to the training school though, so get ringing around.
Maybe they could strap a 125 to each foot. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I am a physically big bloke (I DO play in the front row )
Yes the smaller bike is a bit of a pain for the CBT and possibly 1st day or two, but at that stage you will just be more concerned with getting used to riding it.
When you get on the bigger bike you will find it much easier.
so yeah suck it up and get on the tiddler for the early stages, you can soon move on |
