Good morning all.

My younger brother stupidly bought one of these little bikes, and having owned it just over a week, has already had it stolen.

It was taken from the Bournemouth area, but is likely in a van or car, so could end up somewhere else/eBay.

It is a blue and black one, with the loudest exhaust I have ever heard. Not exaggerating, it's fuelling is all messed up, so it back fires every other second, so is easy to hear coming. Number plate - HF11 BGZ. I'll try and throw up a photo soon.

If anyone spots this little bike around the area, or notices something on the net please let me know. Chances of seeing it again are extremely slim I know, but worth a try.

Sorry to hear that. Pit bike's are always getting pinched, unless their changed to the floor or in a locked garage.

Being a Stomp pit bike as well their a lot of money as their one of the High Market Pit Bikes.

I would first contact the police, then inform my insurance company.
that's of course hes happy with a higher premium next time as they will have to pay out. ( That's even if it's insured. )

The highest chance you have of finding it is, looking on eBay & Gumtree everyday for the next 3 months, as it will get sold on their or for parts.

Good Luck with finding it....

Matty

Cheers Matty.

All insurance and police stuff has been done. It was insured and all by the books, but I just knew it was a matter of time before it was taken.

I'm keeping an eye on the necessary websites, and will be scouting the local off-road joy riding areas.

Surely you knew they were a common bike to steal so why not chain it down?

I know, right. I even gave him a brand new huge chain I wasn't using.

My bike has a steering lock, disc lock and chain, as well as an alarm, and that doesn't give me much confidence in some local areas.

He's 17 though, so had to learn the hard way.

It will most likely be kept by some oik or burnt out, rarely sold on.
Check out my siggy, click the link but with such a demand from thieving bastards wanting a 'toy' at a legit buyers expense it's probably gone. Sad

Cheers Steve, I'll take a look.

You will hear it a mile off, sounds utterly stupid.

Oh and to add to the stupidity, my brother only had third party insurance. So finding it is the only way to actually salvage something from this.

Oh know... Was it a decent stomp pit bike then?

Haha even a chain won't stop them from nicking it, their so small so light anyone could just pick it up an walk off with it, their so easy to work on as well, if they wanted to they could have the engine out in 30 minutes or less! Only place you could really safely chain it is around the frame going through the frame and up over the front end to a post or something. Chaining these bikes by the wheels is pointless as their so easy to remove!

Shame he had TPO for the extra £30 I bet he wishes he would have gone for third party fire & theft !

Hope you find the gem !

It was ok. Apparently had a fair few extras on it. I told go, to chain it to something, which would put off the likely opportunist who took it.

They are seriously easy to work ok. We stripped and cleaned lots of it in about half an hour!

Oh and I was insured on it, and planned to take it for a motorway spin, fully leathered and looking like a tit Mr. Green
