I'd be more concerned about it being nicked tbh. Buy some decent security - a search of the site should turn up everything you need to know. Thumbs Up

Well, we can't tell you 'everything is going to be ok', shit happens. Use your noggin and park it up somewhere it isn't likely to be driven into by idiots.

And it's college ;p

id be more concerned about it falling apart fast, my mate had one for just under a year and had a faulty exhaust, both brake disks warped, computer problems and it kept cutting out. Be better to stick with a YBR/CG

Who says? You can park your bike in a parking space if you so wish. People in cars will get annoyed, but that's part of the fun Wink

How old are you?
Your at college of FE....
You can afford a KTM Duke on EMA?
Your worried some-one might scratch while your skiving off in lectures?
You're not worried that as a newby rider that YOU might totally vandalise it, falling off, doing stupid stunts, forgetting to check the oil, misaligning the back wheel tensioning the chain, or ragging the arse off it?

Me thinks you might have some rather over-romanticised notions of this biking lark, and well, as Nick Cage said in 60-seconds "Too many self indulgent weeners with too much bludy money!"

If you can afford to buy and run a KTM Duke on a School-boy income; If you can afford not to worry about the inevitable 'wear and tear' of exuberant teenage use and abuse... then the remote possibility some-one might scratch it in the bike shed, REALLY ought not be a big concern.... you can obviously afford to fix it.

If not? Well, maybe its not the bike for you, and something else might be more appropriate...... something to which the odd scrape and scratch would merely add more 'charecter'.

Can I just stop you there for a second?

That's it, really, just stop and don't do something so bloody idiotic.

You have 3 months to get yourself a proper license and a proper bike. Get your head sorted.
