Just came back from my first lesson on a suzuki 500 and i loved it!!!!!!!!

The bike seat height was smaller than my honda cbf so i felt real comfortable. My instructor was really good and made me feel at ease as i was nervous before going out. I remembered to cancel my indicators every time Smile and my stopping and pulling away at junctions were good too.

I know that today went well and i appreciate that not all days will be the same but....Today was a good day Very Happy and i just wanted to tell everyone Laughing

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!!!

Deb

You'll have good days and bad, but it's all good cause you'll have your license soon, riding your own bike and everyday will be good!

Thumbs Up

Another convert to the "500s easier to ride than 125s" cause? Wink

It's great that you enjoyed it, that's what it's (mostly) all about. Thumbs Up

Swapped with a friend last monday him on my GS me on his ER 5, couldn't believe how much wider and more bulky the ER felt compared to the GS.

In terms of overall size I've come to realise the GS doesn't feel a great deal bigger than most 125's but with the benefit of a bit more weight and stability which is good for confidence building in most riders IMO.

Very Happy Nice one Fem1, hopefully it shall restore your confidence riding a bigger bike. I know when I went from my GS 125 to the ER6n it felt so much easier to ride after around just 5 minutes.
