I am a very happy man today. Passed Mod 1 first time with no minors.
just like getting a fat girl in bed...... Piece of cake
Thanks to reading all the advice on this site, I hit the speed trap at 53kmph both times using 2nd gear and just giving it large on the right wrist. Covered back brake on E stop.
That surface has so much grip, would love that much on normal roads but i bet it would eat rubber.

Awesome, congrats!
And you're right about the test centre surface, it's amazing grip, but would probably wear out tyres too fast, and also probably too expensive to put everywhere.
That said, there are special surface types, called SureGrip or something like that, they put them on approach to certain junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts to reduce stopping distances, so it is out there where we might need it. ____________________ First bike: CBF125, Feb. - Oct. 2012
