Coo-ee.

I have been looking around t'net for some crash bungs for a 1994 GS500e.

I have looked at RG Racing and and Motrax, and neither of them do them. Anyone got any idea who does them?

Cheers

No one does crash bungs for them, but the next best thing are crashbars, made by Renntec.

You can find them here.

So does that mean you cant get them for the 500f faired version?

you could always drill the frame and tap some threads in to it, to fit some other bikes bobbins? just an idea (probably a dumb one coming from me).

No, R&G don't^^^. Wouldn't drill the frame though. Confused

It is the faired version on the 500e that I have.

So how do crash bars work then? It's the fairing I want to protect so do crash bars do that, or are they just to protect bits of the engine?

Just protect bits of the engine so chances are, the only bits that'll hit the deck are the bar ends and the exhaust, and I guess maybe the back of the bike Confused

If the bike hasn't got long-ish bar ends on it, then I'd recommend some. I dropped my er5 once and thanks to the original bar ends, there was absolutely no damage. Thumbs Up
