Blimey it's that Countryside Alliance! Any discounts for roadkill?

Bump into a vegan and have them claiming money from the CA to fix their vehicle, that's an amusing thought!

Sorry there's nothing useful here but I had to comment! Smile

Which activities do you partake in?

I'm with BASC, because I shoot and that is what I need insurance for. If I did all the other stuff regularly, I'd probably go with CA.

Countryside alliance for me.
The only reason is cost, liability insurance is liability insurance. It was spoken about on Pigeon Watch and the general consensus was go with what you prefer. Laughing

CA for me, how regularly do you shot and in what areas?

CA cover is more than adequate IMO.

BASC for me. Their firearms department can be a Godsend should a faceless bureaucrat in my police firearms department start playing awkward buggers at renewal / variation time.

And me. They sorted a major issue on my syndicate. Very happy with them.

I do get membership with my shoot fees though - so it might as well be free for me anyway.

Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA ) are good for first year if you're after liability insurance for shooting etc,

If you go and sign on you can have BASC membership iirc for £30 for 12 months.

BASC full membership covers for more than shooting, it covers you for liability whilst working dogs for example.

Country side alliance, some would argue are more in touch with the actual countryside than BASC who are more focused on running events.
