Is it worth doing now i've moved? Does it actually matter?

I've updated my insurance (£100 Mad ) the important one
Noticed doing my tax disc online it asks IS THE V5 HOLD THE CURRENT ADDRESS, THIS SERVICE DOES NOT CHANGE IT FOR YOU

So I just lie and say yes
Might be better off doing it down post office really

Is it?
Well i'll be, since when did DVLA have free services?

It was more of a question of does it matter, because I imagine not.

Next time you whip your pork sword out to give it a rub, fill in the V5 and stick it in an envelope instead. Then take it to the post box and pop it (the envelope, not your knob) in.

Thumbs Up

Also check they don't add an owner on when you change address! Rolling Eyes

Sent the car logbook back and granted my hand writing is shit but I know I didn't tick the new keeper bit or even sign that part! Comes back with me being the old keeper at my old address and new keeper at new address... Took a month to get it sorted.

Also means speeding tickets etc go to the correct place, meaning you can respond in time.

Worth doing, I didn't trust the DVLA though so filmed myself putting the V5 in the envelope, then filmed the envelope going into the post box. Thought it could be quite funny presenting that as evidence if the DVLA decided I hadn't sent it etc.

I even had a little "the DVLA are criminally incompetent retards" monologue going on as a voice over.

Would otherwise go to my mums 5 minutes away and she'd let me know if I had post

Saying that, not had my phone on in two weeks Shifty

But ya, might aswell do then, didnt know if they'd just lose it like with sending them your license - address is wrong on that too
