A little while ago it was mentioned that a pm from Pepperami went amiss, it was sitting in his outbox, but I hadn't received it my end to be able to read it?

So I have been keeping my beady eye on the pm's and have sent a few out that have not been received. I even sent a series of six emails once, and only three have been received and not the others. Shocked

Friends have said they've sent me pm's and their messages are in their sentbox to suggest I've read them, but I've not received them at all. Sad

It's sporadic. Some work fine, some don't work at all...

Is there a bug? Can my pm facility be fixed?

If you try to send a PM which the system rejects because it thinks it's spam or phishing, the recipient will not receive it. Try again and don't mention money / bank accounts / passwords as much.

If a PM is sitting in your outbox, it means the recipient hasn't read it yet. Once they read it, it moves into your sentbox until it's deleted.

If you see a notice saying "You have 2 new messages" and click your inbox, but do not read the new messages, you'll go back to browsing the site with the notice now saying "You have no new messages". Those 2 messages you didn't read will still be marked as unread in your inbox, and still sitting in the sender's outbox, but they're no longer new messages so you're free to ignore them without actually reading.

Intresting, so is it keywords it's picking up on or numerical values?

Thanks for the reply
