I have my ccm for fun but I want something more sensible for a commuter/ daily ride

I did my test on a Kawasaki ER5, nice bike but the foot pegs were set a bit too far back for me or the seat was too low, dunno what!

So I want something similar but more comfy for me, what do you recommend????

I'm looking towards a Honda Hornet or the Suzuki Gladius for after I pass my tests never ridden either as yet but have sat on both and for me are a comfortable fit

Depends what you want to spend... BMW F650 or an Aprilia Pegaso they both have a decent seat height and peg position.

Honda CBF600 or CB500 are well known commuters.

New Honda NC700 is very comfortable and do impressive 80mpg.
Not many second hand yet, however.

Have you looked at a bandit? Good all rounder and I am sure you will find a good one in your budget

The Fazer 600 has brilliant reviews (the old one, not the fz6). I've seen it recommended a lot.

Best advice is to go to bike shop and have a sit on a bunch of bikes.

From what you've said in your first post I suspect you're going to have a similar issue with Bandits and Fazers so have a go on one of the duel sport or adventure bikes as they seem to have a more natural seated position then most other bikes.

There's also an bike ergonomic site https://cycle-ergo.com/ which although not 100% (as I don't believe it includes seat width) it does at least give you some sort of idea without too much effort.

For the money it would be hard to get anything better than Bandit, Fazer or CBF.

You can get lots of accessories for these bikes to make riding more comfortable.
