Interesting eBay problem - BCF vengence squad...ASSEMBLE!

So I ordered a Kindle from a Top rated seller on eBay.

Come a week or so later still not delivered.

Check the tracking info, they've sent it via UPS, who apparently have tried to call three times (no card left so I was unaware of any of these attempts). UPS depot is a good 20 miles away, and given my busy schedule I've no time to go collect anytime soon. They also operate on an 0845 number, meaning I can only call from works phone, which means I have to find time to phone them at work. So I leave it for a couple of days and go to phone them up today.

However I have an email from UPS stating that my package has been recorded as "delivered", so I check it and its stating that it's been delivered to some cunt in Swindon, who used my name, and has signed for it with "Hacker".

So it seems someone has managed to hack into....something, and request the package be delivered elsewhere.

So, gonna change my passwords on relevant accounts etc, but who do I complain to? The ebay seller? Its not his fault the couriers are cunts. Im guessing the UPS people would be the first to contact to find out how this has happened and what they are going to do about it.

In the meantime, I have the address it was delivered to, which appears to be a chartered accountants firm.

I'm going to make a couple of calls see whats going on, but if they don't play ball I'm going to ask that the hoardes of BCF fuck their shit up every which way but loose.

I shall report back shortly.

Hmm, I had an incident a few weeks ago where a spam message or two got out to the contacts of my yahoo address book (only about 4, never really used it) and some recent recipients who I'd emailed through ebay and had the messages forwarded to myself at yahoo.

So people are up to stuff! Likewise I changed passwords and also the secret questions.

There's still the possibility of a genuine mistake, for instance if the package was delivered to a firm then it may have been signed for by a secretary or receptionist type.

Lol panic over, apparently that was the return shipping address supplied to UPS...bit strange for an ebay power seller with 20k+ feedback to be operating out of a chartered accountants...which appears to exist on a normal residential street. Anyways, it just so happens to sellers last name is Hacker

Gotta get in touch with the seller to resend it.

Damn, I was looking forward to dealing out some punishment as well.
