hi guys, new here so please be gentle...
I have a Honda CG125 clone. Got a slight issue, no a major issues with electrics.
The bike had a new battery about 10 months ago however it never starts off the button always needs to be kick started. Done a voltage test and idle its 12.2v revs at 4000 its 14v so I think the charging circuit is ok, and i have put it down to a dodgy battery. This is the least of my problems... Tonight whilst out working I turned a corner and lost all electrics, bike still ran just nothing like indicators etc. I have found that if i put headlight on high beam all is fine, on parking lights all fine but if i put it on main beam ie the one for night time riding in traffic, i lose everything. Its quite important i get this solved ASAP as i am self employed and use this bike for my job.. Any suggestions?

Sorry, Should have mentioned, when i leave bike over night the battery is drained. This lead me to think battery is shot. The bike never starts on the button, there is simply not enough power for it. The headlamp is dry

My big issue is turn on main light and lose all electricals. Just need a idea what it might be

If the battery is draining overnight and it's only 10 months old, then you need to do some investigation. First off, it is actually charging? Run it at 4-5000 rpm and measure the voltage at the battery with the lights off, then on. It shouldn't drop that drastically. If it doesn't then you'll need to find out if something is draining it. That means using a multimeter to measure current flow with the bike switched off.

Disconnect either of the battery leads, select the highest current range on the meter and connect the meter in series with the lead (one lead to the battery, one to the battery lead) making sure you get the polarity right. If it's the earth lead you've disconnected then the black lead goes to the battery lead and the red lead to the terminal. If it's the positive lead, then the read lead goes to the battery and the black lead to the battery lead.

With everything off, it should read zero. If it does, switch the range down to the lowest current range and it should still read zero. If it doesn't then you've got some investigation to do to find out where the problem is. If it is zero, then it's probably the battery.

This^^ BUT be VERY careful not to accidentally switch anything on, even the ignition, with the meter connected in series with the battery. Unless your meter has a high range (10A or more, you'd usually need to plug the leads into a different socket) the current drawn by your instrument lights could fry the meter.
