GS500. - £500

Good bits;

New straight forks (came off an '08 GS500F and are much stiffer), new engine, new fuel line, bandit 600 rear wheel conversion. Front brake rebuild w/braided line. Newish battery. Drag bars, streetfighter headlight. Recent izumi "racing" chain. Tailight has NOBCAT across it.

Bad bits;

Never quite got it to run right. Constantly clogged carbs up, recently de-rusted tank & it ran sweet as a nut. Carbs showed evidence of having been apart when i first removed them, so previous owner had been playing around in there. However did run realy nice on the old engine. Vance & hines system is scuffed badly. Paint is shit (but covered in awesome stickers thanks to paddy donating his leftovers )

Spare bits;

Gs500 front & rear wheel in white. Front wheel has studs from brake disc in it, but a good tyre. Rear wheel has matching tyre, but no wheel bearings. A spare set of tyres to suit the wheel setup thats on it at the moment 150/60/17, and 110/70/17 - race scrubs. One good, straight left hand fork leg. Engine parts - cases, barrels, pistons, gearbox internals, engine covers etc. Mains let go. Potentially good for spares.



It's got a month or two of MOT & the tax goes at the end of the month. I've had enough of fucking around with the thing, and it's costing me stupid amounts of money in lost income from having to strip & clean the fuel system every few days. Good project, might make a good winter hack, I just do not have the time to mess around with it anymore, nor the money to tax the thing.

Willing to post any parts, however wont be breaking unless i've got buyers for enough parts to cover a tyre & service for the YBR (£120) Located in Maidstone, Kent.

I'll add to the following list bits that have already been asked for if it breaks. Soon as it adds up to enough to get my YBR on the road i'll begin stripping it.
