Scuff on zxr swingarm replace it or keep it

Hi guys im rebuilding a 1992 zxr 750 j2 and on the swing arm there is a bad scuff so my Q is should i replace it or keep it as its part of the bikes history.Heres a pic of it as as its all stripped down for the whole frame to be powder coated

Oh you should replace it. A scuff like that could lead to catastrophic fail and your back wheel could fall off causing mayhem and killing lots of kittens.

On the other hand. I've farted worse scuffs like that on my bike and I refuse to wank out money to replace for a tiny little scratch.

Get the bike rebuilt, you can always get another swingarm later.

To be fair if it was going to fail it would of by now and at the same time its part of the bikes history i surpose
