Delighted to report that I passed my Mod 2 at the Lee on Solent centre last Tuesday. Hurrah! Very Happy

So after a couple of hours of excitedly telling people, including my insurers, and a trip to the post office for a tax disc and off I went on my gorgeous big bike - Honda VT1100 Shadow ACE.

She's amazing (and HUGE compared to my baby Yammy). According to my instructor and my husband I am certifiable for going from a 125 to an 1100 but its all going well. The only annoyance is that people who don't see me actually ride her assume I'm a pillion - because a 5'7" slim young woman couldn't possibly ride a big bike like that! Pfffffttt!!! Laughing

Congratulations!

I'm planning a similar jump - GZ125 to a Pan European ST1100 - we might be certifiable, but its a matter of being careful and aware.

Break the mould!

Thanks guys. It's fabulous Very Happy
Good luck with your ST1100 inksmithy, no reason we can't do it as long as we're careful.

Well done and no flicking it when you approach a hill!
