I've heard stories of theives looking out for these stickers. When they see one they follow the car home and they know that the garage contains a bike...

Waste of time IMO.

The reason I have one on my car is not to educate the cagers behind me, but to let the bike riders know that I'm a biker and that I've already seen them and that they can filter past safely without me having to do the gutter mong swerve.

Why do you think that? It's hard to measure if any of the Think Bike advertising is actually having an effect on motorists, but I suppose in the end it's better than nothing.
