Probably been posted many times but I couldn't find a thread after a quick search. Anyway, you can order a free "think bike" sticker here:

https://shop.dft.gov.uk/THINKShop/product.aspx?ProductID=04cc108e-573c-43b8-bb46-21b1d27294d8

I saw one on a car today and was planning on buying one for the cage but turns out they're free (well, one per address I assume) Thumbs Up Not as good as nob cat but still Very Happy

I've always wondered, what happens if I'm sporting one of these on my rear window and I still manage to mow a biker down? Wink

I've heard stories of theives looking out for these stickers. When they see one they follow the car home and they know that the garage contains a bike...

Waste of time IMO.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Shouldn't believe everything you hear.

I mean, what's to stop them just following a bike home anyway?

I always see "Think Bike" stickers as

"I'd much rather be riding my bike instead of this toss pot box!"

Thumbs Up

You can stop them by throwing salt over your left shoulder. In extremis, you can get revenge by using a cat to suck out their children's souls while they sleep.

Exactly why mines there! Laughing

Also if it reminds even just one idiot to check properly before their manoeuvre & stops a fellow biker being hit, it's all the better. Thumbs Up

I've had a few people follow me home.

Well, i imagine so, or they have a lot of time on their hands to follow me round the estate twice before buggering off.

Rear mirrors + paranoia FTW Thumbs Up

I've already got a couple on both the cars, but might as well order one anyway.

Cheers Thumbs Up

The reason I have one on my car is not to educate the cagers behind me, but to let the bike riders know that I'm a biker and that I've already seen them and that they can filter past safely without me having to do the gutter mong swerve.

Why do you think that? Question It's hard to measure if any of the Think Bike advertising is actually having an effect on motorists, but I suppose in the end it's better than nothing.

I got an email saying mine has been dispatched this morning Thumbs Up

Dunno really dude. Maybe because I've displayed one for a few years so I give it no thought until it's mentioned and then I think does it actually do anything? Smile My brother who doesn't ride (but used to have a 125) says he gets lots of thumbs ups from bikers. Dunno. Smile

Got a new car a month or 2 back, so tried to order a new sticker but been out of stock for ages. Decided to get one from ebay instead:

Was tempted by the "Think bike, think your mum" ones Laughing

How is that post spam you down syndrome? No point in making another thread on the same subject.
