Assuming you are in the uk?

Well if you are the cbr250 is a good option, you won't get left far behind by any 400cc bike and you will rule the twisties (beating bigger bikes, even R1's Wink )

Insurance is stupidly cheap I'm 18 and got fully comp insurance for £275, Fully comp on a cbr400 would have been around £700.

Parts are a bitch to get and they aren't cheap to crash! However they are an excellent track day tool Wink

Click my profile for pictures of my bike, also visit my website for pics of me on rideouts.

Yours is costing you a tiny amount to repair, considering you dropped a fully faired bike on the track.

All the best

No I shall be a student for as long as I feel necessary.

I forgot to mention, make sure you get the CBR250RR They are much nicer than the CBR250R. Plus the RR has twin disks at the front and generally looks more modern.

I have never had a problem with reliability, the only time I have broken down is due to lack of petrol
