So, I figure the fact you have spare time, you can use to help me? Very Happy Razz in any case, I'd appreciate any insight and some sympathy..

I CBA to type the whole thing, basically, an old woman ended up on the left hand curb, stopped, i proceeded to overtake/proceed , and then she pulled out on me, leaving me with a rather damaged left side of the bike, and a scuffed right hand.

Now, I'm sure I can buff out the drop on the right and re-paint or whatever, but I've alot of snapped fairing plastic on my Burgman 400.

I've failed to find any where online that'll do the panels I need,

( Tried the obvious, Ebay etc, and extensive googling )
I'd rather fix it myself then garage it.
anyone know any hidden places around sussex I could goto to get them or any websites online?
Seems very difficult to locate parts that aren't abroad. Sad

Need more details about your scoot.
You say it's a Burgman 400... What year+paint code. Panels from the manufacturer will likely come already painted, whereas cheap aftermarket plastics will likely need painting.

EDIT:
If it was her fault, why piss about? Get it sorted with all genuine suzuki stuff direct from manufacturer, at cost to her insurance.

Well, she claimed her indicators were on to turn into her drive, but i fail to see why she had to swan neck onto the curb and stop, then turn. her indicators wern't on, but it's my word against hers.

No witnesses either.

My burgy's the AN400 K8, Not sure about paint code, but it's black, so hopefully wont be too awkward to get the right colour.

If it were me I would claim against her or at least try.

If need be get the police involved. Fact is she pulled out on you and damaged your vehicle and you.

Everyone knows what dithering old ladies are like behind the wheel so it will probably go in your favour.

Yeah I'm still deciding whether to claim against her or not.

I mean, the road is narrow as it is, so I couldn't of overtaken had she not had moved over to the curb.

I was only hesistant to claim as maybe they'd say the whole 50/50 thing as theres no witnesses, and the fact maybe I should of waited to see what she was doing even though she had stopped or something.

Not to mention I have no clue how to proceed with these things, I have her reg, and know their insurance company, and where they live.
Very minor damage to them, but hundreds to me.

Ring your insurance company they will sort it for you, thats what you pay them for.

She may take the easy route and say it was her fault to get it over with quickly just to see the back of it all. It's amazing how people change their minds and hold their hands up to accept responsibility when faced with insurance companies or police Laughing

Which I'm not, but if she admits liability then I'll be able to get my 'money' back from her for the repairs. right?
