Looking for some help with fitting heated grips.
I have an xr 125 which has capped handlebars (no bar ends). Has anyone had this scenario before?
The reason i'm asking is because the grips get held on with the bar ends so does it mean i will need to buy new bars or is their anyway of getting them on ok without bar ends?
I was thinking of trying to maybe try makeshift somekind of washer screwed in at the end.
I have never fitted heated grips so any advice would be great.

They aren't held on by bar ends. You can just take your current ones off, glue your new ones on.

Although heated grips will help, you would want muffs also, or hand guards, but both probably use bar ends. Laughing

go and watch a video on how to fit on youtube, thats where i learnt how to fit mine

My bike doesn't have bar ends.

My bikes does have heated grips.

They don't. Actually, if you get your bar ends too tight, you'll have a involuntary cruise control Laughing (happened to me when I was playing around with bar end mirror and I've lost a washer)

So if i just have the grips on with no bar ends it should be fine?
I have never seen motorcycle bars without the grips on so i wasnt sure if the bar ends or grip end covers helped stopped the throttle tube from slipping off. Does that just hold on fine regardless?
Probably sounds a dumb question but its just one of these things i have never seen.

It's attached to the body of the control, which is gripping the bar. It won't slide off.
