So had my CBT for a year now, thought best get my full license done before the new laws in January!

Theory test on 10th November

Full training day 4th December
Full training day 7th December

Half training + Mod 1 10th December
Half training + Mod 2 19th December

Got myself a set of cones aswell to get some car park practise in!

Hopefully on passing DAS i'll be getting myself a Kawasaki GPZ500, heard and read good things about these bikes + the insurance is crazy cheap!

Well, I like mine, but there are plenty of other good choices out there.

You're cutting it a bit tight, aren't you? What's the plan if you nob up a test? Thinking

Hoping I wont fudge my test up, got a couple of mates who have been riding for atleast 15years with advanced riding etc who both said they will help me practise.

I was given the option of doing it in November but I dont feel 100% confident with those dates.

I mean, i'm always controlled with my road driving. Always perform my life savers, keep a good position on the road (straight and cornering), speed limits etc, so really I dont feel to nervous when it comes to mod2 (assuming i pass mod1).

It's just my mod1 that im worrying about, so will keep the practise up and hopefully fingers crossed pass!

Fair enough, there's nothing really hard about either of them. Good plan on getting assessed - I'd ask them to ride quite close to you at times, to get you used to the examiner doing it.

Mine hung back most of the time, but was right up my arse when I missed an unmarked crossroad. Doh! I guess they've all got their own preference. Anyway, 2nd try, I found much easier when he wussed out and followed in a car.

Cheers for all the info, it all helps me prepare!

On a good note, i've been passing all my practise theory tests and hazard perceptions now! Will keep at it though to keep me on tip top form!
