I think it looks kick ass. Rat bikes make my insides feel funny.

It's not really a rat bike tough is it?
It's just been painted matte black, with a couple of spray on overlays.. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

Went to see it today. TBH it actually seems to be well looked after, and in pretty good nick. When I told the guy I'd be looking to restore it back, he was horrified Seeing it in the flesh doesn't make it look any more pretty.
I left him with an offer, and told him to let me know when it didn't sell. ____________________ Honda Goldwing GL 1000 Current love

As a restoration project, it looks like a bargain to me.
Up and running, a full ticket and 6 months rent, pretty well complete; the only thing wrong is the liberal coating of shit paint, but that's not the end of the world.
If it had been available in a couple of months, I would've bought it ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Get rid of that gas mask and then change the light to fit said gas mask into that recess and fill the gaps.
Leave the bike as is after fixing the blowing exhaust.
Job done. ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

Good on you for rescuing it from that horrible abusive owner it had that did obviously terrible terrible things to it. Good luck with the restoration, it certainly can't look much worse ____________________ What would you do in life, if you knew you could not fail?

I don't quite get the 'ratbike' obsession with gas masks
Glad it's going to be rescued. ____________________ Chris

Personally think that is really cool as it is, better looking than standard anyway. Could do with a few mods like cage over the headlight but shame you are going restore. Good luck anyway. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Hold up hold up, if you take the stupid radioactive signs off it, it could almost pass for the motorbike out of the gas station scene in robocop, check it out:

And then you could dress up as that guy and have a kick ass fancy dress costume ____________________ What would you do in life, if you knew you could not fail?
