I have heated grips on ZZR now (thanks Paddy)

However they are not as hot (anywhere near) what they were on Paddy's GSXR

I have them wired up to the rear taillight, so they turn off when key removed or ignition off.

Could this be the reason why they arent heating up enough. Should I wire to battery directly? Didnt really want to have to remember to turn them off really

Any thoughts ?

Mr Joolz

You've wired a relay to the tail light that activates the feed to the grips (from the battery)... right?
If not, disconnect them and wire them as above!! That's way too much current to be drawn from the tail light circuit.
