My Er5 is letting fuel through when the engine is turned off and in response to it the carb over flows are dripping fuel as are the fuel lines. when the engine is running there isnt any problems! i have bought a second hand tap off eBay and will see if that solves it! But if it doesn't do you think i could get hold of a suitable tap with a " off" position to fit? any thoughts would be nice thx.

Hi i think the carbs are over flowing because the fuel is being let in when it shouldnt, the carbs are filling up and the fuel has no were to go! i think Rolling Eyes everyything is fine wehen the bike is running. i am led to believe its a vacum tap not too sure! i have taken the old one apart and have found the o - ring to be fine but the gasket has a split in it! it states this in the manual poor running.

"If the fuel tap leaks, or allows fuel to flow when it is at
ON or RES without engine running, replace the damaged
gasket [B] or O-ring [C]."

this is why a bought a tap off ebay.
