I'd say that if you need to use the internal light in the fridge to find the first can . . its still a little early ! Smile

But saying that - Do what makes ya feel good. Thumbs Up

Good man. I'd say pace it out during the day. You don't want to finish too early do you (insert your own sexual innuendo).

At least you work! If you have earned a day off work, you can do what the f*ck you want!

I've had a day off and had a pint with my crunchy nuts.

even drinking white lightning on a park bench at 8.30am on your day off makes you better than those dole dossing scummers who drink the tennants super every day

Too early is just before you've poured that pish down the sink

Proper ale, not out of cans, would be a start.

John Smiths is basically just sugar in a tin.

It's free. Just fill your bottles from the local pond.

It might taste better than real ale if you did.

Balls to beer, buy yourself a nice bottle of whiskey!

When I used to drink I would happily spend the afternoon drinking whiskey and playing poker online while smoking lots of ciggies/spliffs and listening to music.... Utopia!

Actually... the smart arsedness was minimal Laughing .

Whisky and whiskey are different things. For example Scotch is a whisky whilst American bourbon is a whiskey. I'm not a fan of most whiskey.

Not so much now... but I found if I was still asleep it was usually to early to drink.

Seriously though, when I was working and had a day off then I would wait till about 6pm to drink, even then I'd only have a couple.

Even now (believe it or not), anything earlier than late afternoon just seems wrong... depending on how much you drink that is. Nothing worse than getting to 9-10pm and being well oiled but just need that one for the road... as it were.

If it's earned, it's never to early. I'm really fancying a dram of scotch at the moment. I really can't be arsed to go and buy a bottle tough (my others are back in Wales).

I'll write it so you understand...

How long does it take you to walk to the drinks cupboard and get a drink?
