"The Extension docx is not allowed"

Trying to send my CV out to someone who's kindly offered to read it through for me, however I get this error when I try and send it in attachments. "The Extension docx is not allowed". It's 2 pages on Microsoft Word 2007 if that makes any difference?

Any ways on how to send Word documents over BCF? Don't really want to ask for their e-mails. Nor do I want to copy and paste it, or print screen it.

Open it and save as, in file types set to .doc, the older version word used, docx is a cunt and isnt compatible with loads of shit

Or convert to PDF

I've also had to password protect archives before to stop my AV deleting the files

Just figured that it was probably the easiest solution overall if it works.
