Trying to send my CV out to someone who's kindly offered to read it through for me, however I get this error when I try and send it in attachments. "The Extension docx is not allowed". It's 2 pages on Microsoft Word 2007 if that makes any difference?
Any ways on how to send Word documents over BCF? Don't really want to ask for their e-mails. Nor do I want to copy and paste it, or print screen it.

Be careful with that though.
Some junk/spam/virus filters block zips and also flag Word docs as they can contain scripts.
I know work needs to password protect zips to stop the checker looking in/blocking them.
PDFs I believe are just let through as attachments as only documents.
Just a thought. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

Good point
I've also had to password protect archives before to stop my AV deleting the files
Just figured that it was probably the easiest solution overall if it works. ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |
