Very Happy Sorry to go on about this people but last Sunday me and a mate (kornel saw our bikes but not us) lost our Box Hill virginity! Laughing
We saw lots of naughty things going on but we had to make a move back after only an hour (mate had to revise). Crying or Very sad I saw a couple of other NSR125's (and a sweet 250) one in need of ....well most things really! including a tail-light! and one was a 2001 red/blue with a StGeorge Numberplate. My mate thinks he saw one with a flipup numberplate too! Very Happy
Did anyone see the red/black Harris Fireblade* nutter with the green craft bash-hat on? Fuckin mental geezer, came skidding into the carpark after passing a rozzer at about 160! Rolling Eyes
There was also a couple of TT bikes (orange no.69) that I saw parked up!

Is this normally the turnout? cos fuck me it was quality!!!!
(excuse me but I'm still buzzin even now! Very Happy )

Laters

*Dubious road legality with no indicators, mirrors, led brake-light,race can, blanked off h-light,back wheel in the air all day...you know the score!

Nah, that was fairly sedate. On a good weekend in the summer you have to park in the other car park (the pub one) or even along the hill road, you have to physically fight to get a place on the other side of the road to watch the wheelies, there are at least 2 accidents, about 10 people get nicked and you have no hope in hell of getting into the burger shop. Oh and I think the record attendance is about 800 bikes, last Sunday there was maybe 200... You get the idea.

See you sunday! Laughing

Dylan,
in simple terms,... BoxHill is south London, (just outside the M25)
Its sort of close to Dorking.

Hi
if you get a road map and look south-west of London past the M25 theres a town called Dorking and its basically there. Bikers come from all over the UK and is reguallary mentioned in motorcycle magazines like MCN ect. Its great the maximum numbers of bikes was about 800 someone said but its only worth going if its really sunny. Most people hang about checking out eachothers bikes or watch the good guy's pull wheelies stopies ect and some people just cruse about with eachother.

How should i go about runnin the bike in?
First 100 miles ~ X revs second 100 miles ~ X revs...

Assuming the bike is brand new, it's more like: First 500 miles < 5000rpm, next 500 miles <7000 rpm...

Oh, and don't worry about crashing in on my thread, I do it all the time! Razz
