SDArmada are doing it again, last one was at Anglesey, this one at Mallory on 4th November.

£200 per team, 8 hour endurance race, any takers?

Was a good day out last time.

Sounds like a laugh, I could be up for this!

How much are we looking at in total? Minimum riders etc?

Teams of four, but I've already got my team Laughing

Doesn't have to be four. The less people the more track time you get each!

Me at the last one. Would've bought a picture had they taken more than about 3 of me, all the effort of getting KD on a c90 and no pictures Sad

All over this mate should be a laugh! One of the lads from work is up for it and I can think of a couple more who should be.

Do you have more details on the rules etc? I had a search for SDArmada on google but couldn’t see any details on the site, is it being arranged in the forum section on there?

Rules and regs here,

https://tinyurl.com/PLOPENTRYFORM

https://tinyurl.com/PLOPREGS

I've either got a team of 4 or two teams of 2, undecided yet, depends on if I decide to use the one I tarted up with a different engine or not.

What's the competition like at these things? I want our team in the top 10 at least if we don't break down or crash spectacularly Laughing

I presume a set of tyres will last the whole day on these bikes?

Yes tyres will last all day. I had some M45s last time, they're still good for this time!

Last time fairly competitive though some people really took the piss with cheating.

Found a bike yet?

How can people cheat in it?

Haven't bought one yet but spotted one going cheap. Where did you get that exhaust from on yours?

Are you allowed to do weight saving btw? Does it still have to have the lights etc?

Err... by having a tuned 140cc pitbike engine?

You think they scrutineer every bike at an event like this? All it takes is for the '140cc' part to be carefully filed off and no one would be any the wiser. Until you win the race, obviously.

Its supposed to be a laugh and its supposed to be a gentleman's agreement, but some people are just twats and take the piss.

Yeah echo with what MarJay said. I've got some sneaky plans but I'm not cheating, really Laughing

Last time I had a bog standard 90 with noisey pipe and some people went past like we were standing still!

That's why they've done the 'open' class, so that if someone is blatantly cheating, they won't be in the c90 class and won't win the trophy thing.

I'm not using that exhaust (expensive, too loud) or engine in the blue bike (It's a 4 speed manual, will be using a 3 speed semi-auto) and I'll be removing the lights.

At the end of the day its all for a laugh, no point in taking it too seriously.

Oh, and the main restriction is the standard carb, there's only so much you can do with a tiny carb.

Also, it's 8 hours of abuse, I'd rather have a slower engine but finish the race personally. No point in being quick for 2 laps!
