I spent the last few weeks researching various models (thanks to suggestions here) and spent yesterday checking the two finalists (an ER6n and a NC700S). I did long test rides (dealer and wife were getting a little worried the first time...) and finally settled on the NC700S. The price, after a good part exchange (1,400 for the CBF125) and a some haggling on the accessories (main stand, crash bars and top box), was very close to some of the used bikes I was looking at. I pick it up on the 24th. Can't wait!

Does anyone else own the NC700S? Any tips or suggestions?

Great bike.
You can get almost a dozen cans of Tennent's Special Brew in that faux tank.
